Update on Coronavirus 3.3.20

Dear Parents/Carers

Further to our previous messages issued last week, we would like to provide you with an update regarding the staff and students who were taking precautionary measures in response to the government’s advice regarding the Coronavirus.

The two members of staff who went to a ‘category one’ area in Italy on a private holiday during half term remain in self-isolation as a precaution as per the advice from Public Health England. They are displaying no symptoms of the virus.

A third member of staff who was in self-isolation after returning from a private holiday to northern Italy (outside of the lockdown areas) and had shown symptoms of a viral infection has returned to school after being tested negative for Covid-19.

Two students who attended our half-term ski trip to northern Italy (outside of the lockdown areas) and had symptoms of a viral infection have also been tested negative for Covid-19.

We continue to respond to government advice and guidance. Please find below the latest email we have received from the government that provides a useful helpline.

Kind regards
